What does Cardfy do?

Cardfy scans a trading card with your camera (or a photo from your library), recognizes it on-device using Apple's Vision framework, and shows you up-to-date market prices, set information, and variant values. You can also save cards to a local portfolio and track its total value over time.

Is Cardfy official?

No. Cardfy is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK Inc., or The Pokémon Company. All card names and images belong to their respective owners.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Card recognition runs entirely on your device. Your collection is stored locally on your device — we never upload it to our servers. Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat (see Privacy & Data below).

Scanning

A scan didn't match the right card

For best results:

• Use good, even lighting and avoid heavy glare on the card.
• Hold the camera steady and frame the card so the name and number at the bottom are clearly visible.
• Try the "Accurate" scan mode instead of "Quick" for trickier cards.
• For non-English cards (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and several European languages), Cardfy maps the name back to English before searching — partial matches can occur on stylized fonts.
• If scanning still fails, use the search screen and type the card's name or number directly.

The camera isn't working
